My poetic response to Kipling's "If"
If, when all these things you have done,
Just look back my son and you will see,
That, through all those things that you have run,
you will find that to accomplish them all is just make-believe.
But to try your best and fail, time and time again,
And to put all the best and right things that you know as your foundation,
Is to surpass mere excellence and perfection,
If you can face your faults with persistence and determination.
